GKKs sa Pantukan Girosaryohan

Naandan na sa Catholic Charismatic Youth Community (CCYC) sa Pantukan, ang pagpahigayon ug Marian Journey sukad pa niadtong 2005. Busa agi’g pagpasidungog sa atong langitnong Inahan, nagpahigayon na usab ang CCYC sa Journey. Daku ang kalipay sa CCYC kay nakiglambigit usab ang Single for Christ (SFC), Youth for Christ (YFC), ug ang Diocesan Youth Apostolate (DYA) sa Pantukan. Sa unang higayon kapin 60 na mga partisipante ang miapil sa maong kalihukan. Kini dili ordinary tungod kay oras ug panahon ang gitagana alang niini. Adunay pag-ampo sa rosaryo nga gipahitabo matag GKK. Ang unang misteryo gipahinabo sa GKK sa Birhen sa Lourdes sa Bongbong, ang ikaduha sa Immaculate Conception sa Matiao. Pag-abot sa itulong misteryo, didto na sa GKK Virgin sa Kasilak sa Tambongon nga naa usab Kasaulogan. Sa ika upat nga misteryo didto na sa Bukid sa Kalbaryo nga gitung-an sa Pantukan ug Davao Oriental. Miagi pa ug 14 ka istasyon sa Krus una miabot sa dakong Krus didto sa kalbaryo.

“The Marian Journey is a joyful, memorable and unforgettable experience with prayer and reflection; amazing, extra challenging as we walk together”, says Warren Felix, CCYC admin.

“The Marian Journey 2015 is another unforgettable experience…I received grace from our Lord,” adds Roland Nemenzo, Junior Worker (Prayer Ministry).

“Marian Journey is a learning experience for us to appreciate Mama Mary more. It allowed us to know God and the importance of communicating to Him always and walking in His path,” ended Harold Sios-e (CCYC council).

SILP GKKs misalmot sa ‘Holyween 2015’

Gisaulog sa ikaduhang tuig ang ‘Parada sa mga Santos’ sa San Isidro Labrador Parish, Skyline. Pamaagi kini sa kura paroko ug sa mga nangulo sa Simbahan isip pangontra sa Halloween. Giorganisa pinaagi sa panabang usab sa Prayer Warrior of the Holy Souls – Davao Chapter, 34 ka mga GKKs ang misalmot sa kalihukan.

Tumong sa maong kalihukan mao ang pag-ila ug paghimamat sa mga parokyano sa kinabuhi sa mga santos; makapadayag ug pangontra sa mga kalihukan nga supak sa atong pagtoo; ug makahatag ug bili sa kabalaan nila.

Subay sa tema: “Sa Kakabus Mapuy-an ang Kristohanong Gugma sa mga Santos,” ang kalihukan gisugdan sa misa nga gipanguluhan ni Fr. Joel Caasi inubanan ni Fr. Allan Daclan, SDV.

GKK youth learned basics in theatre

The Pangulo sa Pagpanudlo and the youth of the Our Lady of Assumption Parish from various GKKs ended the month of October 2015 with a Theater Art Workshop, October 27-29. Organized by Parish Priest Fr. Hermie Garcia, the said workshop was also in coordination with the Assumption Parish Youth Ministry. Thirty participants were handpicked.

Ms. Victoria Anghag of the Pastoral Office facilitated the three-day workshop. It was aimed to enhance the talents and to develop the self-esteem and confidence of the attendees, which Fr. Hermie also emphasized. Emotions through body movements was one among the lectures. The actors showcased their talents through a program held on the third day of the workshop. Excited and motivated actors felt glad to capture their audience’s feelings as their families were there to support them. (Rubylene A. Ydulzura)

GKKs campaign to raise 3M

In participation to the Ascension of the Lord Parish 6MASS3 Project (6 Projects as Munting Aginaldo para sa Sanggol sa Sabsaban for 3 Million pesos), the GKKs under its care came up with a campaign to look for 50 donors per GKK who can give P300 in 3 gives (meaning P100 per installment on Nov 3, Dec 3 and Jan 3, 2016).

“This amount is for the different church improvement projects such as flooring, lighting, side chapel confessional, among others,” says Parish Priest Leonardo Dublan, Jr.

On Jan 3, 2016, the parishioners will offer their gifts to the child Jesus like what the 3 Kings did – but not gold, frankincense and myrrh, but 3 million pesos as symbols of faith, love, and hope in Him.
