Youth: ‘Not enough Lord’

The Catholic Charismatic Youth Community (CCYC) of San Jose Parish of Pantukan celebrated the Month of the Holy Rosary with a “Marian Journey.” The 7-hour walk was filled with prayers intended for the world, country, politicians, professionals, among others. “Sorry Lord, kulang pa jud ni sa kadaghan namong ipasalamat kanimo,” (Sorry, Lord. This is not enough as a thanksgiving to you) confesses the journeying youth.

“Kapoy pero nawala tungod kay nabati jud nako nga si Mama Mary niuban sa journey” (It was tiring yet, we felt Mama Mary journeyed with us) says Kolehiyo ng Pantukan student Mr. Denmark Nacion.

Though it is celebrated annually, this is the first time where the journey was done literally with a long walk from Pantukan to Mary’s Wood, Brgy. Puntalinao,Davao Oriental. (Erwin Salta | Pantukan)
