“I have come to light a fire on the earth”

LUKE 12:49 Jesus said to his disciples, “I have come to light a fire on the earth. How I wish the blaze were ignited! I have a baptism to receive. What anguish I feel till it is over!”

REFLECT: Have I realized how great is Jesus’ love for me and how eager he is to sacrifice himself to be crucified on the cross for my sake? Am I conscious of His love and sacrifice in the midst of my own pains and sufferings?

PRAY: JESUS, make me aware of your loving presence.

ACT: Meditate on the Cross today.
