Prayer Weapon

The human heart, wounded by sin, ever since the first fall, has become a prey to temptation by the Evil One, and lured to evils in society stemming from its sinful cravings for power, profit and worldly/fleshly pleasures.

Where lies the solution? Surely God will not abandon His creatures, redeemed by His love. Jesus our Redeemer has given Himself as the solution. And He has shown us the way as our total trust in God’s grace and our constant recourse to Him in prayer.

True prayer implies our sincere effort to do God’s will, which is stated in God’s word or the Bible. It means being truthful towards God, oneself and towards the neighbor. Surely God hears every prayer from our heart. The effort to open up in one’s simplicity to the Source of all being is enough to touch the All-Merciful Heart of God, who is ever ready to grant us all our needs, and to empower us to overcome the Evil One.

The Bible, the living Word of God, does not lie or err, as it tells us in Mk. 11:24: “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive, and it shall come to you.”
