Summer activity shapes Bansalan youth

THE Summer Youth Camp (SYC) of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Bansalan was organized at New Clarin Elementary School, Bansalan, Davao del Sur, last May 15-17.

Although that was not the first time that the youth gathered themselves, the new concept was applied.

With the help of Tuburan Community in the Diocese of Digos, the SYC focused more on spiritual formation as needed by them, unlike the previous gatherings, which centered on sports and social bonding.

The said SYC activities included the following: Team-building, Taize Prayer, workshops, bonding, tree planting, Brigada Eskwela, sportsfest, and Holy Eucharist presided by Parish Priest of Immaculate Conception, Fr. Rex M. Tapales. (Al Divinagracia)
