Davao to host 13th National PREX Convention

DAVAO City has been a favorite destination to national gatherings.

Almost 4, 000 participants are expected to come “to share the joy of the Gospel” at the 13th national PREX convention on April 17, 18 and 19. This will be held at the University of Southern Philippines Sports and Cultural Center, this city.

Parish Renewal Experience (PREX) started in the Philippines in 1980s at Sanctuario de San Antonio, Forbes Park, Makati City. Their American parish priest Fr. Hugh Zurat, OFM also initiated PREX in the Philippines.

In Davao City, there are 12 parishes that conduct seminars: San Miguel, Panacan; Birhen Dolorosa, Babak; Immaculate Conception, Peñaplata; OMPH Bajada; San Antonio, Agdao; Sta. Ana Parish; St. Francis of Assisi, Ma-a; San Isidro Labrador Parish, Lomundao; St. Mary, Buhangin; Sto. Rosario, Toril; Sacred Heart of Jesus, Calinan; and Our Lady of Lourdes, Bangkal.
