Bangkal parish adds new mass schedule

The Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal launched the additional Mass schedule as the parish celebrated its 12th parochial feast day last February 8, 2015. The new Mass time schedule is at 2:30 o’clock in the afternoon.

The OLLP now has seven masses every Sunday, starting at six in the morning, followed by 7:30AM, then at 9:00AM, the Tagalog Mass at 11:00AM, the new 2:30PM, then at 4:30PM, and the last Mass at six in the evening.
 
Parishioners joyfully flocked at the twenty-five GKK booths at the parish ground during this 12th parochial feast day celebration of the OLLP sharing fellowship lunch while listening to the songs of the PSL live band.  

The parish festivities started last February 1, 2015, with PSAM Day when hundreds of parishioners availed various services of legal, optical, dental, medical and bloodletting. Last February 7, 2015, procession woke up the dawn, followed with the Holy Eucharist. In the morning then, about forty children received the Sacrament of Confirmation; while in the evening, hundreds of lay leaders and youths gathered at the pastoral building as they celebrated the Leaders’ Night with songs, dances and fellowship.

On February 11, 2015, during the actual Feast Day of the Our Lady of Lourdes, hundreds of elderly and ailing parishioners were blessed with the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Holy Eucharist.
