Night and Day
Every time I do my daily walk with Teddy, my adorable chihuahua, at five o’clock in the morning, we usually observe the beautiful sunrise. The fading of darkness and the daylight entering the new day amazes me. It reminds me of our struggles in life.
There are times when we experience dark moments caused by problems and challenges. But they do not last long; there are always solutions and answers. Some come immediately, while others are delayed, but there is always a way out of the darkness. The promise of a new day with the rising of the sun can be anticipated, especially in good weather. Just as the Lord made night and day, He knows our concerns in life and sends people or creates opportunities to make life bearable and happier. How great is the Lord, indeed!
On the other hand, as we honor Mama Mary in this month of the Holy Rosary, we thank her for always interceding for us. As we seek her intercession in the dark times of our lives, she never fails to shine her light and surprises us with solutions. Let us spend time with her by praying the Holy Rosary. May we be able to do so, as it only takes about 15 to 20 minutes of our time.
Father God, thank you for always anticipating my needs. Even before I ask for solutions to my problems, you always send answers.
Though there are instances when they may be delayed, help me to be patient as I wait for them. Mighty is your love for us, Lord, as you never cease to astound us with your mercy and goodness.
This we pray through the intercession of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, Amen.
