Sisters of the Living the Gospel Community (LGC) Begin their Novena for the Golden Jubilee of their Community (1974 – 2024)

Bishop of Mati, Most Rev. Abel C. Apigo, D.D. presided the opening mass of the Novena for the Birthday of the Blessed Mother which is also the Golden Jubilee of the Living the Gospel Community (LGC) since this was also the date that the community was established by the late Msgr. Frederick Kriekenbeek fifty years ago – September 8, 1974.

Bishop Apigo expressed his gratitude to the LGC Sisters for their 35 years of presence in the Diocese of Mati. They were invited by the late Bishop Patricio H. Alo, D.D. to do mission work in the diocese.

Up to this time the LGC Community continues to serve the Diocese of Mati and the other local churches in the Philippines.
