Release, Refresh, and Recharge

After a series of events and milestones undergone by the working committee of San Roque Parish Youth Apostolate, they finally got the chance to have their outing at Tripoli Resort, Malabog, Davao City, last July 12-13, 2024.

Expressing gratitude is the theme for their first evening activity. Everyone wrote a personal gratitude message to each other.

Also present during the outing is the ever-supportive Rev. Fr. Junel E. Bustamante, who gave the youth an assurance of his support and even reminded them to continue what they started, “padayon lang ta sa paglangoy”, he said.

The preceding day highlighted the role of the youth leaders in the ministry. As the frontliners of this group, we are to lead others closer to Christ.

“Release, refresh, and recharge,” as I will describe the said activity: release all the stress and pressure, rants and thoughts to your fellow committee as your listening ear and crying shoulder; refresh with the peaceful ambience at night and relaxing scenery in the morning paired with a cup of coffee; and recharge as we unite in prayer, an avenue to regain our strength to move forward and to finally accept new adventures in the ministry.
