Successful Completion of the 5 Basic Formation Seminars by OLMMP Formation Team

The Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Parish Formation Team, under the leadership of Elizabeth Ronolo and the guidance of Rev. Fr. Jesus Samaniego, Parish Priest, recently celebrated a significant milestone. A total of 79 participants attended the 5 Basic Formation Seminar, a series of sessions designed to equip future ministry members and GKK servant leaders with essential knowledge and skills.

This comprehensive seminar spanned five Sundays, covering a range of critical topics. The schedule was as follows:

  1. May 19, 2024: GKK Orientation
    Participants were introduced to the core values, mission, and structure of the GKK (Gagmay’ng Kristohanong Katilingban), setting the foundation for their journey.
  2. May 26, 2024: Basic Evangelization
    This session focused on the principles and practices of evangelization, emphasizing the importance of spreading the Christian faith effectively.
  3. June 2, 2024: Basic Bible Seminar
    Attendees delved into the scriptures, enhancing their understanding and ability to study the Bible, which is crucial for their roles as servant leaders.
  4. June 9, 2024: Basic Liturgy Seminar
    This seminar covered the liturgical practices and their significance, ensuring that participants are well-versed in conducting and participating in liturgical services.
  5. June 16, 2024: Stewardship Seminar
    The final session focused on stewardship, teaching participants how to responsibly manage and utilize their talents, treasure and time as resources of the church and community.

Each session was designed to build leaders ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive formation process. By attending all five sessions, participants met one of the key requirements for becoming official members of the ministry or GKK Servant Leaders.

Congratulations to both the formation team and the participants. Their dedication and hard work have not only furthered their personal growth but also strengthened the community’s spiritual foundation.
