Celebrating Resilience
JLA Subdivision in Barangay Angliongto Sr. came alive on May 1, 2024, as the community gathered to celebrate the 36th GKK Fiesta Celebration of St. Joseph the Worker. Led by Mass Presider, Rev. Fr. Pedro Lamata, the event marked a joyful union of Labor Day observance and homage to the patron saint of workers.
Fr. Lamata’s sermon resonated deeply with attendees as he drew parallels between the life of St. Joseph and the challenges faced by individuals in the modern era. Amidst confusion surrounding the miraculous conception of Jesus, St. Joseph’s unwavering faith in God’s plan shone brightly. “Like St. Joseph, who labored as a wood craftsman, living in accordance with God’s purpose, we too must trust in His divine plan,” Fr. Lamata affirmed.
The celebration served as a reminder of the power of faith to transcend uncertainty. Fr. Lamata’s words echoed through the hearts of the people, urging them to emulate St. Joseph’s unwavering trust in God’s providence. In times of confusion and adversity, our faith will guide us towards greatness.
As the festivities unfolded, the spirit of hard work and love, uniting the community in a shared commitment to embrace life’s uncertainties with unwavering faith. The 36th GKK Fiesta Celebration of St. Joseph the Worker stood as a testament to the enduring legacy of resilience and faith, inspiring all who gathered to trust in God’s divine plan and persevere in the face of adversity.
