In a jubilant display of faith, rich culture, and community spirit, the Immaculate Conception Parish in Peñaplata, Island Garden City of Samal (IGaCoS), Davao Del Norte, marked its 71st Parochial Fiesta celebration last December 8, 2023. The Solemn Pontifical Mass started at exactly 9:00 am. The esteemed Archbishop of Davao, Most Rev. Romulo G. Valles, D.D., graced the festivity. The Mass began with a profound religious fervor as parishioners gathered honoring the Immaculate Conception, the community’s patron saint. The Archbishop’s presence added a spiritual depth to the ceremony, fostering a sense of unity among the parishioners.
