Spiritual growth became the focus of the SYC 2023

Youth camp became strange to a huge number of the young servants. Since the pandemic took place, youth gatherings rarely happen. So in order to provide the youth spiritual growth, the PYA of San Roque Parish Malabog initiated the Summer Youth Camp 2023.

The Ministry experienced a meaningful and a blessed 3-day camp that happened last July 28-30. With the presence of Rev. Junel E. Bustamante, a deacon from the parish who plays the role as the organizer head, with the support of Rev. Fr. Arnold A. Balaquinto-Parish Priest with his PPC members and the working committee headed by the Core group of PYA, SYC 2023 successfully left a remarkable story to the hearts of the youth.

The participants were welcomed by a Holy Mass Presided by Rev. Fr. Arnold Balaquinto-Parish Priest. “Give your full, active and conscious participation in the whole duration of the activity”, Fr. Arnold in his Homily.

Aside from the deliverables, Bible Quiz Bee unexpectedly became the highlight of the said event. It was a competition done by zone that showcased the wit of the young servants.

During the Praise and Worship, participants experienced joy, learning and reflection all in one session. The session as well gave them a chance to express themselves as they glorify and honor God.

A prayer led by the PYA Coordinator-Ms. Jozeil Crodua, officially closed the said event. The participants went back home gaining spiritual growth, embodying wisdom as they accepted the challenge to share the thing they learned to their respective Gagmayng Kristihanong Katilingban.
