Few Reasons to Celebrate

Six Sisters of the Presentation of Mary (PM Sisters) celebrated their jubilee on May 15, 2023 at the Presentation of Mary Chapel located along Seminary Road, Catalunan Grande, Davao City.

Sister Wilhelmina T. Bugante celebrated her 50th jubilee, Sister Elvira P. Antoque, and Sister Evelyn T. Catulong both celebrated their 40th jubilee, while Sister Cresencia L. Cabahug, Sister Teodora G. Nobleza and Sister Leonora R. Camangyan celebrated their 25th jubilee.

The celebration started with the Holy Eucharist presided by Most Reverend George B. Rimando, DD, Auxiliary Bishop of Davao. Newly-ordained Deacon, Reverend Amiel Arado read the Gospel and Reverend Soren Abellanosa assisted the Bishop. Also, present were the concelebrating diocesan and religious priests as well as religious brothers and sisters coming from various congregations. It was a double celebration for the PM Sisters as it was also the First Canonization Anniversary of Saint Marie Rivier, the Foundress of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary.

The celebration ended with an agape lunch for all at the Rivier Retreat House (RRH). It was an especially memorable occasion for the Jubilarians and the PM Philippine Province. (Atty. Grecel Paclipan, PhD)
