REMASE formators prepare for the Golden Jubilee

The priest-formators of the St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary of Mindanao are preparing themselves for the Golden Jubilee celebration of the seminary.  This important event in the life of the seminary, the Golden Jubilee, will be celebrated this coming July 11, 2014.  It is an important milestone in the existence of the first Theology Seminary in the island of Mindanao.

The REMASE formators give themselves the opportunity to reflect in their role as seminary formators.  All of them feel the great responsibility of forming the future priests in the church.  The reflection was done in a retreat form and it was facilitated by Msgr. Chito Bernardo.  The retreat was held at the St. John Marie Vianey Development and Retreat Center or popularly known as the Galilee Center.  It was held on May 2-6, 2014.

Everyone was thankful for the moments of reflecting together as team of formators.  They will forever cherish the rare opportunity of being the formators during the Golden Jubilee.  In the end, Msgr. Chito Bernardo challenged them in this way, “count the blessings that God has showered to the seminary and to you as formators.  You must continue what the early missionaries had started.  Be formators who are close to Jesus.”
