Going to the Peripheries!

Amplifying its noble mission of evangelization as the only Catholic Radio Station in Davao Oriental, the DXHM AM 549 Khz and DXDV 97.5 SPIRIT FM celebrated their 32nd and 14th Founding Anniversary respectively with a medical mission at Sitio Palo 4, Brgy. P.M. Sobrecarey, Caraga Davao Oriental, March 18, 2023.

In line with this celebration, the Radio Station management conducted the activities such as medical mission, dental outreach program, operation tuli and feeding activity that benefited the chosen and one of the Indigenous People (IP) community in far-flung Caraga.

Rev. Fr. Alfe Alimbon, Station Manager and a lumad Priest from Caraga expressed his gratitude to all the working hands behind the success of the said medical mission specifically the doctors, volunteers and working committes and all who have been part of the mission behind the camera.

According to him, the realization of medical mission served as an expression of gratitude to the listeners and viewers of broadcasting station as they marked another year of journey with a noteworthy service to the Filipino people through social communications.

The community engagement program were joint forces of Catholic Radio Station, in partnership with LGU Caraga and supported by both government and Non- Government Organizations. (Kyrie Jacky Sobrecarey)
