PSKB 17th Founding Anniversary

On August 28, 2022, the Pangulo Sa Kristohanong Banay (PSKB) of St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary Parish in Buhangin, celebrated its 17th FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY, with the theme, “FAMILY LOVE: A VOCATION and A PATH TO HOLINESS.” The celebration started with a thanksgiving mass at 6:00 o’clock in the morning presided by Rev. Fr. Dionisio Tabiliran, and the Para-Liturgy at 10:00 in the morning followed by fellowship, a sharing of camaraderie as a proof that we are all united in serving the Lord’s vineyard. The activities continued in the afternoon, such as parlor games, a raffle of prizes donated by generous PSKB members, and the distribution of giveaways.

We would like to express our gratitude to our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Dionisio Tabiliran for gracing this activity by sharing some of his insights for us to ponder and be inspired in the life’s journey of service; the PSKB acronym had been given a new meaning:

P – rayer as an important tool even when facing difficulties, hardships and many obstacles in life
S – incerity by heart in all we do
K- indness is a true dimension reflected in our service
B – rave for being strong and courageous enough to face the many challenges of serving the Lord, our families and to others.

The celebration was a success through the leadership of our PSKB Coordinator, Bro. Toto and Delia Frias together with our core group beginning from planning to the preparation of the venue and on the day of our celebration and of course the presence and the full support of our fellow workers of God, the PSKB of Zones 1-10 who participated on said occasion made all of this possible.
