Mindanao’s First Marian Image to be Episcopally Crowned

In Malita Davao Occidental, the Sto. Rosario Parish will be celebrating its 75th Parochial Fiesta on October 7, Friday. This diamond jubilee will be all the more shining and special because of the episcopal coronation of the image of Sto. Rosario de Malita which will be the first crowned Marian image in Mindanao.

On February 11, the parishioners together with their Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Rogelio Albite l, petitioned to the Bishop of Digos, Most Rev. Jimmy Afable, D.D. to grant them episcopal coronation of the first original image of Sto. Rosario de Malita.
