What’s Your Mission?
“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” – Mark Twain.
Deep joy is what we feel when we have finally resolved, discovered and committed to our purpose in life. Not many of us know what it is or not many of us are courageous enough to do it. We are called to different missions but sometimes we qualify these missions. We only aim for those that we think are actions that would change the world not knowing that we are only called to change ourselves.
I have been drawn to missions, I wanted to change the world, I wanted to make it a better place, not realizing that the people in the home, in my home are the ones who need me most. It’s a weird thought, to shorten our vision, to just look around, to just be present and not look far somewhere else.
Perhaps it’s not about going somewhere foreign or at a place where non-believers are present, but it’s just about knowing what we are called for, using our God given talents and skills. We can never change the world but we can begin by changing ourselves.
