“Difficulties tend to call out great qualities”
As we welcome the year 2022, we cannot but also say thank you for the year 2021. We face 2022 with so much hope and strength, that strength of faith we have learned from the past year. For even if many would say how tough that past year was, it is true that “difficulties tend to call out great qualities”.
Lessons of being more conscious with our health, with being in communion with our family in the midst of physical distance, with giving more time to pray, and with our own vulnerability are some of the inspiring instances that might have led us to discover the good qualities that we have. The help of virtual connectivity can also be one among those that we can give credit.
Given all our positive feedback and lessons learned during the past tough year, our effort for caution against human destruction and even death must continue to grow in us. We need to continue to protect each other from anything that negatively affects our well-being. In doing so, our good qualities of Christian charity must develop foremost.
“O Maria, Rayna sa Pilipinas, panalipdi kami sa mga katalagman.”
