San Miguel Parish Panacan Rolls Out Vaccination For 1000 Individuals

While the fast creation of COVID-19 vaccines is a remarkable feat, vaccinating the entire world has several obstacles, from production to distribution, deployment, and, most crucially, acceptability. With that, the initiation of Joint Action of City Mayor’s Office, City Health Office, and Archdiocese of Davao alang sa Bakuna (J.A.B.) took place and accepted the challenge to hold the 2-day vaccination at San Miguel Parish Panacan last August 30-31.

The program is intended for the GKK Servant Leaders (GSLs), Mass Servers, and functionaries of Barangay Panacan that were pre-registered. Furthermore, 444 individuals were jabbed on the first day while there were 556 individuals on the second day, which encompasses 1000 individuals who received their first dose, administered by the nurses and doctors utilizing the Sinovac vaccine.

The vaccination went successfully through the persevering volunteerism from various sectors: namely, the PAVOR (Panacan Volunteer Responders), some San Miguel Parish PYA, and Barangay Panacan volunteers. The activity commenced thru the sending forth mass of the volunteers, presided by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Mervin George A. Maglana. (Ma. Joneila Laruya)
