Transfigured or Crucified Beauty?

Yes, there is beauty when Mark describes Jesus with his clothes becoming “dazzling white, such as no fuller or earth could bleach them.”

But this beauty is awesome and was caused by Jesus’ sheer physical power as God.

When Jesus was crucified there was beauty too, the beauty of love hidden in physical weakness.
