Journey of Love, Faith and Hope

We don’t come from a rich family, we didn’t have a ton of money, but the greatest wealth we have is our FAMILY.

Recently, my brother suffered mild strains of the virus. If you do not expect the unexpected you will not find it, for it is not to be.

The journey has begun in January 1, 2021 (unwelcome). We feel trapped & worried, hurt and sadness, and guilty for feeling the way I do. “How long will this be?” We love our “bunso” because he is a diabetic person but we found out a genuine infection of COVID-19 (double sickening) on that day. Take slow deep breath, weird, crying, exhale/inhale… I really don’t know the feeling… maybe FEAR.

Every day, we meet all kinds of surprises (hurting). Challenges we face, unexpected obstacle – close contacts KUYA, ATE, JESSA her girlfriend but the fear and emotional anxiety – mixed it. These actions / feelings can make me worry even more about myself and my family.

Thank you to the Almighty Father, the result of the three persons in swab test – negative. But still our bunso ongoing medical treatment – diabetes and mild COVID case patient. He stayed longer in the private hospital until he transferred in the public hospital. I was as scared… As a sister, I really don’t know… I feel sick with worry and sad. Fourteen days home self-quarantine in a situation like this from the family, niece & relatives (1st gen, 2nd gen & 3rd gen required by the tracer). It is very difficult and real & true “pala ito”… Keep in touch with video calls, group chat and messenger. Only working for me is FAITH & HOPE in Lord Jesus Christ, give us the grace to hear my voice (my brother who contracted Coronavirus disease & diabetes). God’s healing hand, Bible sharing, gospel song and Rosary the best weapon I have. I am not doing it but this time I offered it with the Lord, I’m really more close to Him. God is good all the time. I will not end in praying because I experience it – NO… but every day the people need it, who suffered a lot of pain.

Thank you to all medical doctors, nurses and supporting staff. Great medical teams that still continue to study the medications to solve this pandemic problem. May the Good Lord sustain and inspire – to render your life-saving service with due care, love, and compassion… I really salute all of you from January 1 to January 23, 2021. The learning that I received on the moment until now. “All Means All,” I really love this quote and I will end this with … God has a reason for allowing things to happen.

We may never understand His wisdom, but we simply have to trust His will. – Psalm 37:5
