Pamilya: Sandigan sa panahon ng pandemya

The greatest threat in family life is sickness. That is why COVID-19 evidently affected each of our families. Those who got sick with this virus suffered the absence of a loved one in difficult times of physical weakness. Those whose loved ones died due to this virus were deprived of spending nights of wake with the body of the dead.

But the greatest sickness is moral and spiritual. When our sense of the good is no longer felt, our relationship will collapse. When the love of God and neighbor is no longer observed, our being created in God’s image and likeness is corrupted. When selfishness reigns, the more needy man becomes.

Experience tells us that this pandemic proved that the family is the place where one is always accepted. There is no other place than to be at home with one’s family to pray together, hope together and help each other in times of crisis like this.

May St. Joseph, who loved and protected Mama Mary and Jesus, intercede for us.
