Healing in the midst of pandemic

The pandemic that changed the face of the world today calls for healing among us. The healing we obviously need is physical since our vulnerability is exposed and in danger of sickness. That is why we need to continue to pray for our scientists and medical practitioners to be enlightened and guided in their endeavor to discover and invent whatever is may help us in this time of need.

However, we also need to be healed spiritually. Many of us have been discouraged and helpless as countless opportunities for work and income has been lost. As some business and work opportunities are lost, many question their faith. But for one who has the eyes of faith, he always sees God opening another door when he closes one. Patience and hard work has proven that we are not short of God’s grace. God can draw out something good in the midst of evil. This we have witnessed in this challenging time.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of Christ, the healer, make us rise up from our vulnerability.
