“This Sunday is called St. Peter the Apostle Sunday for the formation training and support for seminarians, clergy and religious all over the world.” (cf. Ordo) The Church dedicates a Sunday within the year to remember, gather resources and pray for the enhancement and development of our ministers. It is said that “we cannot give what we do not have.” Our ministers need to be nourished both in the human and spiritual sphere in order to continue to give themselves for others.

In the midst of the present crisis due to COVID-19, let us not forget to include in our prayers our ministers and those who aspire to become one among them. We need them today as spiritual inspirers and guides. They also need our prayers for them.
