Bishops lead prayer on feast of Our Lady of Fatima
Bishops from different archdioceses and dioceses in the country have led the recitation of the Holy Rosary on the day of our Blessed Virgin Mary’s apparition in Fatima, Portugal, May 13.
Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) and Davao Archbishop Romulo G. Valles have prayed the Holy Rosary together with fellow bishops in celebration of the Month of the Holy Rosary and in celebration of the National Simultaneous Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The following are the bishops who participated in the said event:
Bishop of Malolos Dennis C. Villarojo of Malolos, Bishop Broderick Pabillo of Manila for the First Glorious Mystery, Bishop of Iba Bartolome Santos for the Second Glorious Mystery, Archbishop Jose Palma of Cebu for the Third Glorious Myster, Archbishop John Du of Palo for the Fourth Glorious Mystery, Archbishop Antonio Ledesma of Cagayan for the Fifth Glorious Mystery.
Bishop of Kidapawan Jose Colin Bagaforo led the concluding prayer while Archbishop of Davao Romulo G. Valles led the Act of Consecration.
The event is also a celebration of the feast of the Our Lady of Fatima held at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Valenzuela City. (JFF/DCHerald)
