Classes suspended due to Covid-19

Classes in different levels in Davao City and neighboring cities have been cancelled for fear of the spread of the Coronavirus.

As of March 10, the following are some of the schools who have suspended their classes:

• Ateneo de Davao University postponed all graduation and moving up ceremonies.
• Jose Maria College suspended classes in all levels starting March 11.
• St. Peter’s College of Toril suspended classes from March 11 to 13 for Basic Ed, March 11 to 19 for College. Moving up and graduation were rescheduled.

Other schools have followed in their suspension of classes in the following days.

Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte has called for the postponement of graduation and moving up ceremonies after the red alert status was declared for the country.

Other cities like Panabo and Island Garden City of Samal have suspended their classes for different levels.
