DADITAMA recollection, meeting held

The ecclesiastical province of Daditama which consists of the Archdiocese of Davao and Dioceses of Digos, Tagum and Mati have gathered their bishops, priests, religious and lay pastoral workers for a Lenten recollection and meeting.

The recollection and meeting were held at the Holy Cross of Davao College Maritime Training Center in Camudmud, Island Garden City of Samal from March 3 to 5.

Archbishop of Davao Romulo G. Valles welcomed the participants as the Archdiocese of Davao is the host for the quarterly meeting. The archbishop also handled the first day’s session for the recollection.

Fr. Joel Tabora, SJ, president of Ateneo de Davao University facilitated the session on the second day wherein he talked about human fraternity.

The participants also had the Holy Hour, Confession and daily Mass.

The meeting was also an opportunity for the Church leaders of the four dioceses to discuss pressing issues and concerns affecting the Church and the people.
