Padada Parish holds sending forth

The Renewal Seminar and the Sending Forth of Lay Ministry of the Liturgy (LML) in St. Michael’s Parish of Padada

There are different phases from the different GKKs that sent their LMLs for the Renewal Seminar. There are 131 out of 137 LML in general who took the challenge to serve the Church through their respective GKKs. Mr. Padok Miego, the Coordinator of LML with the help of Mr. Edwin Canales the former LML Coordinator made possible the renewal seminar with the abiding guidance of Rev. Fr. Jupiter Canoy, DCD, parish priest.

These Lay Ministers serve unconditionally because of their voluntary acts in the church and to God. In fact most of them are in their senior age, some middle aged and one who is youth. The LML serves to help our priests during the Holy Mass and serve their GKK. They serve as Pangulo sa Liturhiya which we popularly know as “Kasaulugan sa Pulong”. Father Cris Violon, DCD gave the blessings and send them forth as a renewed LML.

After sending forth all LML, they gathered to have their first general meeting. The parish priest of Padada who is Rev. Fr. Jupiter Canoy reminded them to live the teachings and pointers he gave them. He congratulated the LML and said that they must act as true servants in the GKK with the responsibility that comes with it. (Joanna Marie Trumpeta | Padada SocCom)
