Duyog ug Panagkuyog: Sta. Cecilia Chorale sends relief to Magsaysay, Davao del Sur

MAGSAYSAY, DAVAO DEL SUR — After the success of the Duyog ug Panagkuyog Concert last December, the Sta. Cecilia Chorale has delivered the relief goods to the victims of the recent earthquakes.

After serving in the early morning Mass at San Pedro Cathedral in Davao City January 12, the group then travelled to Magsaysay, Davao del Sur to distribute the goods that they have gathered after raising funds through their concert at Sta. Ana Shrine Parish last year.

The choral group has served 272 families and one school during their gift-giving last January 12.

Martino Aldepolla of the Sta. Cecilia Chorale said that they are happy to be of service to the victims of the earthquakes by using their God-given talents.

Families are still trying to recover from the damages brought by the earthquakes with most of them still staying in the evacuation centers.
