Duyog ug Panagkuyog: Choral groups hold concert for quake victims

Using their voices for a cause, choral groups in Davao perform for a one night only concert for the victims of the earthquake in Davao del Sur.

Featuring the music of renowned arranger N. Arnel de Pano, six choral groups staged the concert at the Sta. Ana Shrine Parish, December 10.

Headed by the Sta. Cecilia Chorale, other groups have also joined like the San Pedro College Chorale, Tigatto Voices, University of the Immaculate Conception Chorale, Pitch Blend Chorus and Voices of the South Children’s Choir.

“Together let us lend our helping hands to the affected people of Mindanao. Together let us give them joy, hope and light this Christmas. And in the spirit of the World Choral Day celebration, we, the choirs of the world sing and help as one,” said Martino Aldepolla, one of the members of Sta. Cecilia Chorale.

At the end of the show, he announced that they were able to raise P110,000 and they are still accepting donors for their cause.
