ALS marks Teacher’s Month

The World Teachers’ Month was celebrated by the ALS Davao City Implementers, Saturday, Sept. 7 at the My Hotel, San Pedro street Davao City.

It happened after the 3-Day training of implementers September 5-7. The said training was attended by all Instructional Managers with their District ALS Coordinators and Mobile Teachers.

With the recommendation of the Division ALS Focal Person, Dr. Jima Gelmo, the preparation of the program was assigned to ALS Tibungco District Instructional Managers together with their District ALS Coordinator Mr. Alvin Olaer.

The program started with dancing upon entering the hall. Everybody felt the happiness and joy as they danced with music sang by the selected Implementers of DepEd Tibungco District Mr. Reynaldo Mahilum, Mr. Elmer Gudin Yamson and Mr. Alexis Tito.

“Happy Teacher’s Day,” said Dr. Gelmo. “Kanina participants mo, karon party party na,” she said during the Opening remarks.

Meanwhile, the Focal Person of ALS also appreciated the effort of ALS Tibungco District implementers being the program sponsor since they have done it successfully and creatively.

District ALS Coordinator Alvin Olaer was also happy and inspired upon hearing the acknowledgement and inspiration coming from the Focal Person.

At the end, everybody was recognized and acknowledged as they imparted themselves being an ALS Implementers. (Rusty Salazar Corsame)
