Children of Tomorrow: A Benefit Concert

The Southern Philippines Medical Center’s Pediatrics Department in cooperation with Anak Kaugmaon Foundation, Inc. presents Ryan Ryan! The Maestro.

This is a concert for a cause intended to raise funds for the critically ill beneficiaries of Anak Kaugmaon Foundation who are admitted at Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) who ran out of Phil Health or any financial support due to their costly medical treatment.

The said foundation offers financial support in terms of laboratory, drugs and any necessary medical requirements to cure their patients properly.

According to the Vice Chair for External Affair of SPMC Pediatrics Department, Dr. Michael Manalaysay, that there are more or less 50 children admitted per day. He also emphasized that the number one case in the said hospital is dengue ranging to 15 to 20 patients per day.

Manalaysay explained that the prevalence of dengue incidence in the region is due to its geographic and climate situation. Therefore, he urged the public to take preventive measures all the time to lessen this seemingly increasing rate of dengue cases in the region.

In line with this, the SPMC Pediatrics Department and Anak Kaugmaon Foundation calls for the cooperation of the public to support the said event on August 24, 2019, Saturday, 6:30pm at Davao Convention and Trade Center, F. Torres St., Davao City featuring one of the country’s notable songwriter Ryan Cayabyab together with our local young singers of Musikademy.
