Kasalan sa Parokya held
Fifty-two couples from 26 GKKs out of all 43 GKKs under the St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Maa joined the mass church wedding in an event dubbed as Kasalan sa Parokya last July 13, 2019.
The parish priest Msgr. Paul Cuison together with Fr. Reyjie Penecios, Fr. Randy Vergara and Rev. Marvin del Campo performed the sacrament of matrimony.
Prior of the event was an information drive by the GKK servant leaders to their respective GKK members who are cohabitating but are not yet married in the church.
The Family Life Apostolate conducted a series of Pre-Cana Seminars.
In the homily Msgr. Paul Cuison emphasized it is better to be married in the Church because it is sacred and it is a sacrament. He said it is important of God’s grace to be received by husband and wife through the sacrament of matrimony. God’s grace is sufficient and everything will turn out for good. It is a mirror of God’s unconditional love for us. (Pamela Millabe)
