Youth & Bishops in holy retreat?

This is something new for me. It is not easy but I am going along. This might be a learning experience. My aging memory staggers to recall and retain whatever is being said and shown.

This unique process was prepared by the CBCP Commission on Youth under the chairmanship of Bishop Godofredo Hausian SVD of the Diocese of Abra.

Retreat objectives:
During the retreat and through the retreat, guided by the Emmaus Story, the bishops are expected to experience a synodal journey with the young that begins with listening and reflection on the situation of the Filipino youth; continues and is deepened in their personal reflection, in personal and liturgical prayer moments and in the creative sharing with some youth; and culminates in their personal vision of youth ministry in their dioceses.

The fruit of the retreat is the commitment of the bishops to continue the synodal journey with the youth in their own dioceses.

The retreat activities are
1) personal reflection and prayer; 2) community liturgical prayer; 3) sacraments of reconciliation and the Holy Eucharist; 4) Dyad and small group sharing; 5) creative presentation of youth situation; 6) formal presentation of Christus Vivit (Pope Francis’s Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation); 7) sharing of Catholic Connect (possible entry into the digital world of the youth).
