Charismatic communities celebrated 34th anniversary

The Charismatic Renewal Service of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal, along with other parochial and transparochial charismatic communities gathered at the Christ the King Charismatic Center in Bago Aplaya last October 20, 2013, as they celebrated their 34th anniversary.

The entire faithful charismatic communities started their whole day celebration with an enthronement singing joyful songs led by the OLLP CCRS Music Ministry Marilyn Nalla, Nelson Nalla, Leah Del Rosario, Edwin Del Rosario, Edgar Linaza, Angelo Morcillos and Michael Peralta, along with their animators Gina Gamale and Angelie Elle. The OLLP CCRS was headed by their Coordinator Catherine Medialdea.

The input shared by Father Al Botero inspired the faithful charismatic communities in understanding the theme, “be deeply rooted in Christ and become stronger in faith”. His inspiring message was colored by the homily given by Father Jose Marie Escuadro during the Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist celebrated by Father Hover Jocson.

Each parochial and transparochial charismatic community, including the OLLP CCRS, shared their respective charisms and talents during the presentations in the afternoon that engulfed joyful celebration of their 34th anniversary. (Vonz Hijada)
