The Marian Exhibit on its third year

In the daily quest to spread the Good News, the Davao Verbum Dei Media Foundation, Inc. (DVDMFI) recognized the intercession of Mother Mary to the Lord for the sustenance throughout the years.

To honor Mother Mary in her guidance, DVDMFI held Marian exhibit anew. This exhibit has been on its third year now.

The exhibit was held at Abreeza Mall here last May 19-25 with the overall theme “Mary journeying with the Filipino Youth in Mission: Beloved. Gifted. Empowered.”

Throughout the week-long celebration, it has circled on daily themes, like:

May 19 – Beloved through Mary
“Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God” (Lk 1:30)

May 20 – Obedient through Mary
“I am the servant of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” (Lk 1:38)
Fr. Ferdinand Lariosa

May 21 – Gifted through Mary
“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.” (Lk 1:42)

May 22 – Empowered through Mary
“The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is His Name” (Lk 1:49)

May 23 – Shielded with Mary
“I shall put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; it will bruise your head and you will strike its heel” (Gen 3:15)

May 24 – Entrusted to Mary
He said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” (Jn 19:26)

May 25 – Consecrated to Mary
Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” (Jn 19:27)

Caliber resource speakers shared their inputs on the devotion to the Mother Mary including Ms. Angelyn Dee, Fr. Erwin Rommel Torres, Fr. Marbendear Moralias, Fr. Edilberto Mahinay, Fr. Dariusz Dzewiecki, MIC, and Fr. Alvise Bellinato, CSCh.
