Bangkal Parish Catechists Join Archdiocesan Catechists Day

The catechists of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal, along with other catechists in the Archdiocese of Davao, joined the Archdiocesan Catechists Day held at the Sta. Ana Holy Cross Gym last September 28, 2013. They were accompanied the whole day by its ever supportive Parish Priest Father Dexter C. Veloso.
The objectives of the activity were 1) makapadayag sa pagtoo kang Kristo ngadto sa uban; 2) makapakita sa pagkamatinud-anon sa Ebanghelyo ug kang Kristo; and 3) makadayeg ug makapasalamat sa Dios nga tinubdan sa pagtoo.
Welcomed by Father Nestor Dalumpines, the catechists gained more insights and learning from the inputs given by guest speakers Father Noel Gastones and Ellen Penero who shared relevance and significance to the theme “Matoohon, Masangyawon, Mabungahon”
Father Pepe Retorca officiated the celebration of its culminating Holy Eucharist.
