LITES Celebrates its 25th Anniversary

Twenty five years ago, the Blessed Sacrament Community of Assumption Parish initiated the Module for Adult Evangelization on The Eucharist known as Life in the Eucharist Seminar (LITES). Since then, the Community empowered the laity as their collaborators in carrying out the module. Our team here in Assumption Parish takes pride in spreading and promoting this not only here in Mindanao, and some places in the Visayas but also in Luzon.

It is with great joy and hearts filled with gratitude that Assumption Parish will celebrate this momentous occasion by conducting “BALIK LITES” this coming October 13, 2018 with the theme ‘LITES @ 25: We remember, we celebrate and we believe”, a gathering of all LITES graduates in the parish for bonding and spiritual growth. This activity is also part of the year-long celebration of the 60th Parochial Fiesta of the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish on August 2019.

The whole day celebration is highlighted by the talks of Fr. Eliseo Navarro MI and Fr. Jonelito Sison, SSS in the morning. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass follows in the afternoon while remaining activities resume at the 3rd Floor Assumption Parish Pastoral Center Building with the Audio Visual Presentation and Personal Testimony and the Fellowship.

Let the words of St. Peter Julian Eymard, to Mme Isabelle Spazzier, Nov. 5, 1859 be our inspiration “Live on the divine Eucharist, like the Hebrews did on the Manna. Your soul can be entirely dedicated to the divine Eucharist and very holy in the midst of your work and contacts with the world”. (BMS)
