OLLP SoCCom sets continuous Formation and Skills Training

Leaders are learners. Our education never ends with graduation ceremony, it lasts throughout our lives; hence we are always looking for ways to fill in the gaps in our understanding as we believe that the mind is one of the most effective leadership tool, and we need to constantly sharpen it. What we know is the link that ties us to Co-Servant Leaders.

Formations and Skills Training is an Integral Part of Servant-Leaders development. As skillful as they maybe, leaders still need to be constantly toned and trained. At present we are on the stage of developing and implementing the Training Program for GKK Social Communications Committee (SoCCom) and we consider them as one of the most significant contributions to achieve the Apostolate’s goals and objectives.

And as part of the implementation program of the various Pastoral Formations stated in Section 3 Articles 19, 20, and 21 of the Guidelines and Norms on the Gagmay’ng Kristohanong Katilingban (Yellow Book) a seminar on Effective Communication Skills is scheduled on October 14, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 2018, at the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Pastoral building for the new GKK SoCCom members and serves as a refresher for the old members.

The Committee envisions that the GKK SoCCom members will see themselves as Change-Agents committed to expand their knowledge, skills, innovation and commit themselves to the theories and methods necessary to discharge service related responsibilities.
