DPWH turns over three school buildings to DRANHS

To provide a decent learning environment to the students, three school buildings were blessed and turned-over to Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School (DRANHS).

Fr. Zenon Ampong headed the blessing of the three school buildings during the inauguration and turn-over ceremony, May 25.

The OIC Principal of DRANHS, Dr. Mary Joy Simo-ag said that she is thankful for the three school buildings that they finally have.

She said that they are helpful in decongesting the school although more buildings are needed as the school now has 8,000 enrollees for school year 2018-2019.

The three buildings comprise of 56 classrooms to house the students of DRANHS and was implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways Davao City District Engineering Office (DPWH-DCDEO).

DPWH-DCDEO Assistant Information Officer John Frances C. Fuentes represented District Engineer Wilfredo Aguilar during the inauguration which was also attended by Brgy. Captain Joel Santes of Matina Crossing.

In his speech, Fuentes said that he hopes that more buildings will be built in DRANHS soon as he also underscored the kind of school buildings that a school has determined how the Government prioritizes education.

“Take care of your school buildings as these will not only serve the enrollees for this school year but also in the future,” Fuentes said to the teachers and students present.

He added that DPWH DCDEO commits themselves to build infrastructures that are “Mabilis, Malinis at Maganda.” (Mairhyl Faith Robledo)
