Porta Fidei reechoing tightens bonds among various OLLP organizations

GKK Youths and CCRS Youths of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal, along with some members of the Knights of the Altar and assigned seminarians from the Regional Major Seminary, joined together in the OLLP’s Sacred Heart Chapel last August 25 in rediscovering the journey of faith during the parish’s intensive reechoing of the Porta Fidei.
Other parish organizations like MMF, BBS, CFC and LCCP were also gathered for the same reechoing at different venues. All members of these organizations, including the youths, experienced the joy of believing and the enthusiasm for communicating the faith.

Despite intensive reechoing of the Porta Fidei, other organizations continued with their scheduled activities. The Holy Rosary GKK held their Fiesta Orientation last August 26 as set by its PSK Sis. Leonora Jumento. The parish choir members, led by its Coordinator Bro. Nonoy Piastro, went on with their continuous practices in preparation for their coming concert. In fact, the hectic schedules of different parish organizations and GKKs tightened the bonds between and among its members as they went along with the reechoing of the Porta Fidei.

By understanding the wisdom of the Porta Fidei of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, the parishioners, nevertheless, valued the importance of the two indispensible sources of our faith: the Documents of the Second Vatican Council and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Porta Fidei will also be reechoed to all members of the parish GKKs within the months of September and October. These successive reechoing of the Porta Fidei to all parish organizations and GKKs is the active participation and response of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal to the celebration of the culmination of the Year of Faith.
