AsMIC Recollection to culminate the Year of the Parish

Associates of Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (AsMIC), Davao City cluster spearheaded a recollection for AsMIC members, SMC alumni and MIC friends on December 2, 2017. This was held at the MIC Retreat House-Annex, Davao City. To start with the recollection Sr. Melanie Delfin, MIC led the opening prayer and facilitated the penitential rite. In our liturgical calendar, December 2 marks the 34th week of ordinary time which culminates the celebration of Year of the Parish wherein the recollection resource person, Fr. Ritsche Gamaya focused on the topic; “MISSION OF COMMUNION and COMMUNION FOR MISSION”: What attitudes do we need to develop in our “mission of communion” and “communion for mission?” After the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the Eucharistic celebration followed which was presided by Fr. Ritsche Gamaya. The recollection ended with the sharing of reflections which was facilitated by Sr. Justina Villagracia, MIC. (Hermie Mapute | AsMIC Secretary)
