Youth Camp sa Mintal

The Immaculate Conception Parish Youth Apostolate had organized its camp last May 20-21 based on the theme: “A Call to Forever: Teacher, what good deed must I do to have Eternal Life (Mt 19:16).”

The event aimed to promote camaraderie and provide guidance among the youth to answer their calling started with a Mass presided over by Fr. Jovilo Bongay, DCD. Personal stories were shared such as from Sr. Lilibeth Cajes, SM, Mr. and Mrs. Romy Austria who are married for 53 years and Ms. Grace Marin.

Fr. Jose Marie Escuadro, parochial vicar of ICP-Mintal challenged the delegates as he said: “Since all of you (youth) are the hope of our future, both Church and the Nation, you only have two choices, to be the best or the least.”

Festival, tribal and cultural dances were presented during the solidarity night. The Immaculate Conception Charismatic Youth Ministry led the “Youth Jam” and praise and worship. A Eucharistic celebration presided over by the DAYCA Director, Fr. Leomel Puerto, DCD ended the said camp. (Roy Felix T. Abrio | ICP SoCCom)
