Out of Love
God pours so much Love these days.
It has been a remarkable event of the whole Catholic community the Christ’s passion. How could a man willingly accept the death penalty of crucifixion when he knew that he was innocent of any crime compared to Barabas? How could the persecutors insist Jesus to be nailed on the cross as sentence of his claim of being God?
When he was already sagging on the cross, how could people say that if he is really God, he would even save his own life, and get out of the cross so they could entirely believe that he is really God.
There were many manifestations occurred to Pontius Pilate suggesting Jesus not to be sentenced to death, otherwise, what did he do?
He even washed his hands so he could no longer be accountable to Jesus’ death provided that He has the power to change and maneuver the motion of the people.
Jesus remained silent. He was all silent. He never even reacted, he humbled himself before his people and continued to understand them. For one reason, for one single reason. Because of His great and unfathomable Love, he allowed himself to take crucifixion as payment of the whole world’s sins. His Obedience to his Father was the most evident proof of God’s mercy and compassion. It was all out of LOVE. It is all for LOVE.
Forgive me LORD. I am not worthy, but I’m trying hard to keep pace with your own feet willing to be your servant. (Rhizter Rafaela Cedeno | Padada)
