Twenty years ago, the Diocese of Digos organized the Handmaids of the Lord (HOLD). It is a Christ-centered ministry of (CFC) Couples for Christ who are widows, separated, single and mature, married women whose spouses are not ready for Christian renewal or married women whose husbands work abroad, or are already deceased.

This anniversary celebration was participated by 5 parishes namely: Sto. Rosario Parish (Malita), San Lorenzo Ruiz (Don Marcelino), Immaculate Conception Parish (Bansalan), San Isidro Parish (Digos), Mary Mediatrix Parish (Digos), and from the host parish, St. Joseph the Worker (Sta. Cruz), last November 19.

The delegation came in time for the holy mass which was presided by Fr. Ronald Lunas, D.C.D. of St. Joseph Parish.

The celebration themed “Rejoice, Pray, and Give Thanks” was evidently refreshing with all the members wearing their Hawaiian costumes and accessories as they danced to the tune during the program.

The venue added consistency to their theme having done it at a Beach resort named Bay Coronon in Sta Cruz. (Blaze Cantaros | Sta. Cruz)
