9th LCCP Convention gipahigayon

“To proclaim the Word of God, to stand in the midst of the assembly and becoming ourselves the voice and person of God in the midst of the worshipping community”

Kini ang mensahe sa Arsobispo sa Dabaw si Abp. Romulo Valles sa tanang Lectors, Commentators, Cantors ug Psalmists (LCCP) sa Archdiocese sa Dabaw niadtong Marso 5, diin gipahigayon ang 9th convention sa REMASE Gym, Catalunan Grande, subay sa tema nga “Yukaristiya: Tuburan sa Kaluoy ug Gugma, Kalig-on sa Pamilya.”

Sa iyang homilya, gikumpara ni Abp. Valles ang tulo ka lihok sa Simbahan sa buluhaton sa matag lector, commentator, cantor ug psalmist. Una, ang kanunay na pag-ampo ug pagpasalamat sa Dios. Ikaduha, ang motudlo bahin sa Ginoo. Ikatulo, ang pag-alagad sa katawhan sa adlaw-adlaw na kinabuhi.

Gi-awhag ni Abp. Valles ang tanan na tungod kay kini ang Tuig sa Kaluoy, dali kita makasinati sa mercy and compassion of God, unya isog kita magdala sa mercy and compassion of God sa uban.

Nagpaambit pud si Fr. Joel Caasi, director sa Archdiocesan Liturgical Center, sa iyahang reflection bago sa Misa. “Eating at table is an image of family, a community sharing. Surrounding at table is led by a father who acts as the presider. The table should be regarded as sacred or with great respect.”
