Avail San Pablo’s free health check-up
THE San Pablo Parish successfully undertook once again its monthly Medical Mission aimed at helping the parishioners in monitoring their health last Sunday, January 3.
This activity is done every first Sunday of the month from 6am to 9am. Services being offered are the following: FBS, cholesterol and uric acid analysis.
Headed by the Parish Social Action Ministry (PSAM), with the assistance of medical volunteers and the youth, the group expect regular visits from patients who previously had their tests so as to monitor their health indicators.
Moreover, a proposal to expand the blood typing is being studied by the parish as this will entail a GKK-wide mission to have a list of residents with specific blood types. This data bank in every chapel is crucial during emergencies. As in any ministry, prayers and sacrifice are key to the success of this worthy endeavor. (SPP SoCCom)
